We are small hobby breeders
who raise our puppies with
love and attention. They are played with often, and are well
socialized. This is very important in determining what kind of
temperament the puppy will have as an adult. They are accustomed to
both adults and children as they are played with daily by both. For
ease in house training, our puppies are accustomed to using a doggie
door from a young age for potty and outdoor play (see photos of our "Doggie
Condo"). All of our Poms are
fed only the highest quality food to ensure good health. Annette
is
a
Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Herbalist. She uses this
knowledge to
help her raise sound and
healthy
puppies. She has served the American Pomeranian Club
as Membership Chairman, two terms on the board, and for the last 14
years as a column writer for the Pomeranian
Review.
Our puppies come from excellent backgrounds (pedigrees available on Our Poms page). They are small and sound. Our stud dogs range from 3.5 -5 pounds and our broods from 4.5 - 7 pounds. All of our studs are champions or champion sired from top winning show lines. Coat colors available are: Bright Orange, Red, Sable, and occasionally Black & Tan, Cream, and Silver Cream Sable. The price for an Avalon puppy starts at $1,000.00. Health and satisfaction is guaranteed. A lot of hard work and attention insures a good beginning for the pups under our care. We consider our prices to be very reasonable for puppies of this quality. We supply AKC papers, a pedigree and an information pack with each puppy. Your puppy will have had its first combo shot and been wormed. Ongoing support for puppies purchased from us is always available.
Pomeranians are easy to care for. They need brushing every few days, and their nails clipped each month. As long as they are fed high quality food, they rarely shed coat (females do shed after whelping). Poms eat very little, so it is not expensive to feed the best food. They are very intelligent and easy to train. Their antics are charming, and each Pom has a lovable personality of its own. Well bred Poms make good children's companions, however small children must be supervised so that the puppy is not dropped or hurt. Toddlers should only hold toy dogs while sitting on their bottoms. Large dogs may also hurt or kill your Pomeranian, so please exercise caution in this regard.
If you plan to purchase a Pomeranian, please carefully consider your decision. Your little addition must have care and attention. You must be prepared to keep his vaccinations current and supply training and discipline. Most of all, your puppy will need love. If you are prepared to give all this, then you are ready to welcome a puppy into your life. Remember, he will be your companion for many years to come.
If we do not have puppies
available now, you may add your name to our waiting list. (Click
here to see
availability on Puppies.) Please specify male or female and
your color preference. For pets, we highly recommend a male puppy. (See
our Pom Care page,
"Male or Female for Pet" article for reasons why we recommend a
male.) If
you are interested in showing your Pom puppy, please let us know. We
offer
exceptional show prospect puppies from proven sires and dams. We will
send
notice to our mailing list as puppies become available.
